I Wrote A Poem

Aesthetic Misery

By Othello D. Gomes

Did you know?
The valleys through which we traveled,
Went on, and on,
'Till we found out,
That there was no end to our path,
Birds singing,
Wind blowing,
The skies had cleared its view,
As it were showing us a show of wonder,
Waiting, and waiting,
The trees vanished,
The grasses perished,
Wildlife was becoming more , and more lost,
People filled their mind with inventions,
But, their inventions,
Created a Lazy set of new generations,
And none ever took the calm , pleasant walk,
In the dance of the stars,
Nor the complexity of the joyful wind,
Nature had lost its true beauty,
And concrete had taken its place maliciously.
